Uniform and symmetrical conical or cylindrical roots, perfectly straight and entirely free from branching or bending, with the crown (green top) removed and a clean base. Color: Uniform deep orange both externally and internally, with no green areas at the shoulder (the part exposed to sunlight). Skin & Texture: Extremely smooth skin, hydro-cooled and washed. Firm, crunchy flesh with excellent storage capacity that prevents wilting or softening during land and sea freight. Sugar Content & Flavor: A distinct, natural sweet taste and a high dry matter content, making it the preferred choice for both fresh consumption and processing. Sizing & Grading: Sorting and grading are performed by root diameter or length according to the foreign client's requirements: Small (S): Diameter 20–30 mm (Length 10–15 cm). Medium (M): Diameter 30–40 mm (Length 15–20 cm) – the most demanded size for supermarkets. Large (L): Diameter 40–50 mm (Length 20–25 cm).
